finally found the mood to blog again.
been rotting at home for awhile now.
wth.
sudden shock.
was typing halfway,
den my neighbour kid, lucas, appear beside me.
yea hes shorter than my table.
gave me a big shock.
heng he dono how to laugh at ppl for sudden jumping.
=))
anw,
my airborne finished like last thurs.
very luckily.
all i can say is.
(Y)
since the day i entered the course,
i keep wishing i can hurry up and jump.
so yea wish fulfilled =)
first 8 days of the course was all training.
side right! side right, GO!
Push, Turn, and Roll Over. Recover!
tats wad i can hear for almost everyday.
doing all those break fall really break me.
there is not 1 day my back, knee, neck not aching 1.
really is do until left knee almost gave way.
+ the sickening flu tat made 3 most impt days of the training untolerable.
yes tat was training.
think is cos i went for diving course alrd.
tats y when it came to jumping off the tower,
there was no fear.
lol.
its like only 5 storey ?
with harness somemore.
not so scary leh.
its the simplest task of the course.
=))
doing break fall test was not easy AT ALL.
with a strained left knee.
almost failed.
almost.
couldnt complete 1 fall properly.
it was also the time when it was mind over body.
keep diverting myself from knowing my knee is injured.
jsut do the wadever stunt i needed to complete.
so wad do u know?
i passed =)
jump 1 was supposed to be on 17th.
pilot cancelled it =.=
went ahead with chinook jump.
18th.
its an early morning jump.
i was in lucky sortie 1.
with the colonel, mdm, all the officers.
wow morale boost man.
they are like so freaking high inside the chinook.
i just followed them.
yea so when time for me to jump,
i happily jumped out.
with my eyes fully open.
yes, i jumped out of a perfectly functioning plane.
feeling is GREAT.
got twists in my parachute,
and i didnt realise.
until when it suddenly gave me a jerk.
the parachute automatically untwist. =)
both jumps land in grass.
those soft soft 1.
super easy la.
just roll on the grass.
and i am done.
2nd jump i became 1st jumper.
it is NOT funny.
i stood at the door,
freaking look at the chinook turn.
and when i look down,
it was expressway.
the instructor tell me to JUMP.
WTF?
but yea their parking good.
so still land inside DZ.
hahahah
was called back for the 3rd jump on 24th.
the C130.
tats wad everyone said.
the real kick starts there.
arranged myself in the last few people to jump off.
so hahahah no worries 1.
somehow or rather.
the plane i was in .
went up and down for 1 hr + .
with all of us inside.
initially all 50 of us still happy talking.
after 1/2 hr inside with NO 1 JUMPED OUT.
all sian.
start to sleep.
den the freaking plane LAND.
and we stayed inside.
=.=
uncomfortable sleeping position,
with slight giddy.
and i think all of us if start to talk more,
will start to puke.
when it is finally time to jump,
all freaking no mood.
yea i was just thinking.
i wan to jump off.
i dowan stay inside plane and puke.
and somehow i became last jumper.
was ASSISTED out of the door.
that is the most blank moment of my life.
worse than chinook jump.
i went out, stare down, whole body just follow the wind.
somehow i was pulled back to look at my parachute.
i stare at it, and i just stoned there.
until my memory came back few sec later.
lol.
and the most fucked up part came.
i was SUPPOSED to land in grass.
i aimed alrd.
wind suddenly grew strong.
blow me jsut nice on top of runway.
nxt thing i know.
i only remembered to bend knee.
and i just slammed on the ground.
butt landing, den back.
instant butt numb.
+ still kanna drag by parachute.
not so good ah.
at least i completed it.
at the end of the day,
i graduated with 36 other ppl.
those lucky few.
some others was pushed back to other days.
