hes those kind of person.
u will tink hes mad to even help ncc.
cos with his qualifications.
he shld be excelling in the army.
but yet he chose to be unit advisor as his "cca"
and quite actively come down to see.


05/06 promotion parade.
he was the guest of honour.
sure am honoured.
to be rly given by a major at tat time.
subsequently,
even for anniversary parade,
he will come down and take a look.
in his army uniform.
it was like representing ncc.
unbelievable.


when he talks to us.
he seriously just come down to a level.
and give his speech to us.
u can hear all sorts of stories from wad he have seen.
and how he thinks of us.


i rmb he even wanted to have PT session with us.
i tink it was 2007.


for every year when theres anni parade.
he will be there.
i dono y.
he will just come down.
and see.
and during passing out parade for the 3rd batch.
he came down.
again as the guest of honour.
although the level we showed him was not there.
he didnt rly scold.
oh ya.
there was this 1 time.
i tink jy said wrong sequence during parade.
he told him wad is the actual sequence.
yea.
he rly did a lot.
anni parade.
he lent us something.
tat we were rly shocked.
when we told him we cant get the thing,
he just lent us.
it was his personal 1.
but he just lent.
and he managed to lend us his subordinate 1 too.
unbelievable seriously.



during affirmation ceremony.
and yes i saw him.
took the initiative to talk to him.
cos seriously.
i find him more approachable.
and yea although he cant rly rmb my name.
but its ok.
at least he know i frm nchs.
lol
he was still saying wad i can do when i go army.
how i can do.
he look lively.


just few hours ago.
i went to the funeral.
i saw his face in the coffin.
it was pale white.
his eyes shut.
i have never rly see his eyes shut for more than 2 sec before.
my heart sank.
someone i respected.
is lying there motionless as i look at him.
it was only after few months.
news of him from mr koh.
and now he left.
so quick and without a warning.
its really a pity.


the worst is.
when teachers were talking to his wife just now.
his wife was .. yea sad.
and when her daughter walk to her.
hold her hands and look up to her.
i dono y.
i rly feel sad.
such a small daughter.
innocent.
has lost a great father.
totally unaware of wad her father has done.
to all the ppl arnd him.
even if its small.
its still an effort from him.


to my surprise sir wei jie was also there.
(hard to change after so long.)
(wei jie was a scary figurehead)
apparently major ang was his company 2ic.
duno if its inside tekong or sispec.
but yea.
he felt pitiful for him too.
he was a great man.


i want to write down something.
and together give it to mrs ang.
for her to show to her daughters nxt time.
how their father inspired ppl.
from army to ncc.
and inspired those ppl .
that are not easily willing to listen to others.
i salute him.
